The National Planning Exercise on initiating campaign on Corporal Punishment at the Member States level was held on 31st May, 2012 parallel to the 3rd Governing Board Meeting. The SAIEVAC National Coordinators from the Member States along with the child participants, chaperones and some CSO representatives comprising of the national delegation attended the planning exercise.
The action plans were forwarded to the Governing Board for endorsement.
The event was organized by SAIEVAC Secretariat and was hosted by the Government of Sri Lanka with the support of the South Asia Coordinating Group on Action Against Violence Against Children (SACG) and in collaboration with the office of the SRSG on VAC.
